Very, very nice... The strings are just beautiful. <3
Is the guitar Virtual Guitarist Silk or something else? :)

Albe responds:

Thank you!! Glad you liked it. For the guitars I used Evolution Steel Strings and a nylon guitar preset from Ethno World 6, both kontakt libraries

Hey! This is pretty damn good! Especially the production, just great! <3
... Can you maybe share what you used VST/sample-wise, pretty please? ^_^

TheVodouQueen responds:

Hey there! Apologies for the delayed reply... Sure! I'll send you a DM when I have time soon. ^_^ Been really busy as of late... D: Thanks so much for listening and glad you really enjoyed it! ♡

How right would I be to guess you're a David Maxim Micic fan? :D
Amazing stuff, man. Blown away. No comment necessary. <3

Mackievellian responds:

Actually never listened man but I'll check it out! Thanks for the awesome comment friend

Holy crap, man! This is beyond amazing! The imagery it produces is incredible! I'm definitely using this as inspiration for when I make horror stuff in the future...

LD-W responds:

I've always been the kind of composer who prioritizes design and atmosphere above all else with my past projects. This one was somewhat different for me, in the case that I've forced myself to focus on composition aspects first, to get both the design and atmosphere results that I've sought after. Which can sound abit odd since the project is mostly atonal, but trying to do things like surround some of the projects technical focus around the Number 13 in terms of it's Time Signature, Tuning and to an extent tempo aswell formed the basic building blocks for everything else to get structured on top, and allowed for 'structured experimentation' per-say.

Thanks for checking the track out!

Hey, that was GREAT!!
I love to hear such good production values and your voice is as good as always! :)
The lyrics are beautiful and the mid-section inspired me to try something similar in the future!
Literally just the guitar is a bit rough in the mix and maybe could be patched up easily. :)
But still, 5/5, just beautiful!

GameBoyFireworks responds:

Thank you!

Nothing against the verse and bridge, but the chorus is AMAZING! Just love the vibe! <3

GameBoyFireworks responds:

Thank you!!

You "play" the VSTs very nicely, that's not an easy feat! Well done, it's so very exciting and open! <3

Santi-Montali responds:

Thanks! Yeah a lot of automation and one might never notice if you've never used kontakt before haha. Appreciate it :)

Ohhh yeah, the heat is on! Good old catchy bass line, interesting harmony at 01:03 and especially the very Japanese VGM-inspired part at 02:34! And the chorus could easily have been in an 80s funk chart topper, no questions asked. Good luck in Round 2, man! :)

RoachBoarder responds:

Aw you're so kind! Thanks, man. I appreciate it! Best of luck!! :]

I love it!! Good luck in Round 2, man!
EDIT: Oh man, a year later and it's still jamming!

RoachBoarder responds:

Thanks bro! You too! :)

Oh hell yeah, 5/4! The whole last section is total Dream Theater! <3
.. Maybe I should make some prog stuff for the next round...
What electric guitar is that, stock GarageBand? :)

ChordC responds:

Definitely inspired by Dream Theater ;), and yeah lol XD I used stock Garageband virtual electric guitar, I really wish they made more distorted electric guitar virtual guitars, so it’ll be more convenient for me. Plus I can’t really play that fast on a real guitar for this song XD. At some point, I gotta learn how to use more advanced sound programs.
