You "play" the VSTs very nicely, that's not an easy feat! Well done, it's so very exciting and open! <3

Santi-Montali responds:

Thanks! Yeah a lot of automation and one might never notice if you've never used kontakt before haha. Appreciate it :)

Ohhh yeah, the heat is on! Good old catchy bass line, interesting harmony at 01:03 and especially the very Japanese VGM-inspired part at 02:34! And the chorus could easily have been in an 80s funk chart topper, no questions asked. Good luck in Round 2, man! :)

RoachBoarder responds:

Aw you're so kind! Thanks, man. I appreciate it! Best of luck!! :]

I love it!! Good luck in Round 2, man!
EDIT: Oh man, a year later and it's still jamming!

RoachBoarder responds:

Thanks bro! You too! :)

Oh hell yeah, 5/4! The whole last section is total Dream Theater! <3
.. Maybe I should make some prog stuff for the next round...
What electric guitar is that, stock GarageBand? :)

ChordC responds:

Definitely inspired by Dream Theater ;), and yeah lol XD I used stock Garageband virtual electric guitar, I really wish they made more distorted electric guitar virtual guitars, so it’ll be more convenient for me. Plus I can’t really play that fast on a real guitar for this song XD. At some point, I gotta learn how to use more advanced sound programs.

Okay, it's official, I'm gonna have to listen to all of your work as soon as possible. :)

Deemo-R responds:

Haha, super appreciate it! I'm sorry to say that the well runs dry pretty quick, but I'm always hoping to be better about it each year that I keep doing this!

Wow!! Thank you for sharing this with us, it is beautiful! ...I could learn a lot from you... :)

Deemo-R responds:

Thank you! I need more excuses to share things anyways, haha. I'm always happy to help when it comes to picking up new ideas - I always take as much away from my peers as I can, after all!

I loved the build-ups, but I really wish the choruses weren't so overly compressed.
They have the "oomph", but just not the punch they deserve. :)
Other than that, I like it. It's catchy! Keep it up!

OmegaT responds:

Thanks a lot! :D

I can definitely hear this was made to be a string piece! :)
The piano version definitely has its charm, but being so quantized, it really can get old fast... :/
I would love to hear somebody actually play this on a real piano, though! It would sound damn bitchin'!
Either way, it has a good arrangement! Do you have experience in composing/playing classical music?

Very cool! I can definitely hear you've spent the most time making this one. :)
Best of luck with making that game of yours, man!

DreyLand responds:

Oh ! Thank you very much !! That really give me hope to create DreyLand ! :D

Very nice! I'm really digging this one from your collection. Especially like the 6/4 intro. :D
I know the feeling of composing with the image of the game you're making it for already in your head, that's exactly the way I compose video gamey songs.
Keep it up, man!

DreyLand responds:

Yes ! I'm glad you understand my work and like it ! ^^
Thank you very much !! :)
